International Building Code 2003 : Looseleaf Version (International Building Code (Looseleaf)) review:4 stars (A Strucural Engineer's Necessity) - It is pretty difficult to review a specification that you must have.5 stars (49 states are now adopting this Code) - Better learn this code. Local codes are being swept away by one standard. Here is Colorado each town had its own test, amendments and licensing system. California is the only state, having revamped its code 2 years ago, to keep its system.I finish basements, often for homeowners who think they can do it. From Loveland, I can work any city without irate inspectors wondering why I don't know their specific requirements. Good book.
