Advanced Disk Catalog (ADC) compiles an inventory of any type of media, including CD-ROMs, Zip or jazz drives, hard disks, and floppies. An Explorer-like shell makes browsing the data simple. Install the program, launch it, choose a disk to scan, and ADC builds a corresponding entry in its database. You can create multiple indexes or categories and enter comments about them. ADC includes full searching capabilities based on file name, date, age, and size. Disk organization is now as easy as point-and-click and very fast -- the program uses a finely tuned C++ database, so the speed and size of the catalogs is optimized. You can report or print selections for easy viewing, browse inside compressed files, compare catalogued disk with actual, import descr iption from "file_id.diz", "files.bbs" etc. ADC has multi-language interface; about 30 languages are supported now, and the users can add more themselves.
